    Rudolf Novácek (1860 - 1929) was a Czech composer and conductor. He studied at the Vienna Conservatory and later became military director in Pilsen. He maintained a friendly relationship among others. Also to "Antonin Dvorák", whose works he often orchestrated.

    His most popular work, the "Castaldo Marsch" he wrote for the "28th k.u.k Infantry Regiment" and was dedicated to the regimental commander Colonel Ludwig Castaldo.
