  On the Reeperbahn at half past twelve there is a waltz song composed and written by Ralph Arthur Roberts for the revue "Bunt ist die Welt", which he himself staged. The text is about the nightlife on the "Reeperbahn" in the Hamburg district of St. Pauli.
  
  The song became popular through its use in the films "Große Freiheit Nr. 7" (1944 and 1945) and "Auf der Reeperbahn at half past twelve" (1954).
