    Wilhelm August Jurek was an Austrian conductor and composer. He entered at 1891 the "k.u.k. Infantry Regiment  Hoch- und Deutschmeister No. 4". Jurek composed over 300 songs and orchestral works, including his most famous march, the "Deutschmeister-Regiments March". In 1893, he dedicated the Infantry Regiment No. 4 to the Hoch- und Deutschmeister.

    In honor of W.A. Jurek was named after him in 1938 in Vienna "Jurekasse" (15th district).

    Our ensemble editions contain, as a standard, all common Bb voices TC.+ BC.
