  Gottfried Sonntag (1846 - 1921) was a German composer. Sonntag was Stabshoboist (musician of the infantry) in the "Bavarian Infantry Regiment 7". His most famous march is the "Nibelungen March" with motifs from the "Ring of the Nibelungen" by Richard Wagner.
