f6/8 March von Carl Michael Ziehrer
    Arr.: Achim Graf, Peter Welte

Carl Michael Ziehrer (1843 - 1922) was already composing his first works at the age of 19. In 1884 he became conductor of the famous k.u.k. Infantry Regiment Hoch- und Deutschmeister No. 4. The highlight of his musical career was in 1907 the appointment to the 4th and last k.u.k. Hofballmusikdirektor (after Strauss, father / Strauss, son / Eduard Strauss). C. M. Ziehrer gave concerts all over Europe, including at the Chicago 1893 World Exposition. Despite his success in 1922, he died impoverished and, like many important composers and artists, was buried in an honorary ceremony at the Vienna Central Cemetery.

Our ensemble editions contain, as a standard, all common Bb voices TC.+ BC.

Content: Full score and single parts
