Robert Browne Hall (1858 - 1907) Conductor and Cornetist He inherited his musicality from his father Nathaniel W. Hall, a virtuoso on the Signalhorn and Eb cornet. His mother, Virginia L. Browne, was a successful pianist. No less gifted on the violin, harp and the classical guitar.

R.B. Hall composed more than 62 marches, many of which were also played by J. Philip Sousa. His compositions still belong to the standard program of ambitious wind orchestras.

His most well known march "The New Colonial March" is here in an adaptation for wind orchestras with its today's occupation.
