    Sloop John B. The origins of this world-famous world hit the Caribbean Islands at the beginning of the twentieth century and became the absolute million-selling by the "Beach Boys".

    The original text of the tragic-comic song is about a ship with 2 passengers, who got drunk in dispute and whose sloppy sloop around 1900 has fallen near Governor's Harbor. The wreck was discovered in 1926 off Nassau (Bahamas).
